Group Travel

In 1998, I journeyed to England and Wales to visit and experience every standing stone formation I could find. In pastures, in more conventional settings, and even tourist traps I enjoyed walking in the presence of these ancient spiritual and healing sites. While there, the idea was born to create a group travel theme that would include an educational component with a focus on learning from the ancients.

Since then groups have gathered biannually to journey together to sites such as England, Ireland and Peru; Turkey is scheduled for September, 2011. The educational piece is almost entirely experiential. We don’t spend any time in a classroom. However, this carefully planned course has been approved for 45 contact hours of continuing education by the Kentucky Board of Nursing. This could help you with your taxes if you check with your accountant. It assures that you learn from the experience.

Anyone who is interested may travel with us. Travelers, both men and women, have ranged from 18 to 75 years of age. You do not have to be a nurse or have an interest in continuing education. We have a lot of fun and also share some dramatic moments at 5000 year old sites while learning from local healers. We have opening and closing rituals, time for meditation and reflection at the sites and, of course, time to play as well.
