Experiential Therapy Group
Several experiential therapy group days, times and starting dates are available. Currently groups meet twice a month only, with group times on Wednesday mornings, Friday mornings and Thursday evenings.
These co-ed groups are for those who need emotional and spiritual recovery from:
addiction of any kind
codependency
relationship issues
anxiety or depression
grief and loss
perfectionism
trauma and abuse
unresolved shame
Experiential small group work helps develop new skills that can change recurring patterns from unresolved emotional wounds. It helps the individual move beyond defenses, access feelings and find an authentic voice in relationships.
MEETING TIMES: Wednesdays and Fridays 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM or Thursdays 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
MEETING PLACE: 5721 Knob Road, Nashville, TN. 37209
FEE: $100. per three-hour session.
COMMITMENT: Six month commitment with 2 passes.
FACILITATOR: Joan Furman, MSN, AHN-BC, CET II, who facilitates groups at Onsite Workshops in Cumberland Furnace, TN, where she leads intensive experiential therapy programs. Joan has a private counseling practice and leads other groups in Nashville, TN.
